A double-deck six-track railway steel-truss cable-stayed bridge: the upper deck carries four passenger-dedicated tracks at 200 km/h, the lower deck two freight tracks at 120 km/h, reserving clearance for 5,000 t vessels and accidental-impact capacity. The river section has complex terrain and high installation precision.
BIM application & outcomes
Using Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and DELMIA: the design institute completed the design and submitted the BIM model; the contractor performed detailing and 4D construction simulation and optimization of key methods.
The project parameterized all bridge components, building an enterprise library of characteristic bridge components, and used DELMIA to simulate steel-girder lifting and incremental launching.
